HEYOO its been a minute. I decided to push journal updates to just once a week-I honestly don't do anything interesting enough on a day to day basis to warrant a journal post every night. For example, now I have a BUNCH of stuff to write about. Over the week I got some stuff done on my projects-I'm almost through with finishing up the shading for my Ladynoir pieces-just rendering out the black sections on both of their suits, doing some shading for the background buildings, and then I'm done! For The Mansion I've gotten onto the shading portion too-it takes a bit cause there is a LOT of background right now but I'm slowly working on how to cut out all the background work I have to do. Sadly I won't be able to get ANY work on either of those done tonight since by ipad charger BROKE I was able to order a new one but it won't be in until tomorrow ૮(˶ㅠ︿ㅠ)ა. I'm revising the first chunk of Living and Waking I just need to get through editing Sylvia and Nightmare's first proper interaction, but after that it should be good and I'll move on to editing the middle. Also got started on drawing a picture of Eyes-all of my drawings of the main four "creations" were supposed to be black and white since I didn't necessarily plan on using color, but now I'm kinda reconsidering the vibes I want for my story. I'm going to read some comics I have but just haven't touched, and I plan on going to the comic book store with a couple of my friends at some point so I can pick up some more horror comics for inspiration-Living and Waking isn't technically straight up horror in its story, but it takes inspiration from horror visually if that makes sense?? So i do need to read more horror. As for here, I've been chipping away at my Stardew page-I'm trying to become less reliant on templates so I'm figuring out the layout all by myself!! It's been fine, honestly requires a lot of downloading and hunting down assests from the game-hope to have that done in the coming weeks. Anyways, besides that, I spent a lot of time with my family this weekend which was very fun-I always am with them, ofc cause I live with them but we went out a lot more than we usually do. For one, there was fourth of July, which we don't technically celebrate? Honestly I'm not sure how you celebrate it, but because they both got the day off my papa grilled some meat and some corn (I love corn all the corn was for meeee) and we watched Sinners and Salem's Lot cause we were on a vampire kick I guess. Sinners was SOO GOOD i didn't see it in theaters but it was such a good film I need to rewatch it and write all my thoughts down. Salem's Lot was also good but it inspired me to watch the original more than anything. On Saturday I managed to roll myself out of bed to join my parents on a walk which was very fun-we then went for rotary sushi which was very good and very fun. After that we did a quick Walmart trip where I purchased another LEGO SET IT'S COLE IN A MECH I'M BUILDING IT LATER TONIGHT. Then today I woke up late (,,>﹏<,,) but we went to a comic book shop-it's far from our house but VERY NICE the people who run it are cool. After that we went for tapas which was also delicious I have been fed very well this weekend. Now I just finished up cooking some broccoli and bok choy because that, combined with the leftover meat, means my ramen game is about to go CRAZY this week my food is going to be delicious (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑). ALSO i finally finalized my Superman plans with my friends TEEHEE thats for next week and I'm so excited FOR IT. Anyways thats it TA TA FOR NOW!!!

I'll get to the toaster and cry about Rooster Bold later I'm lowkey tired cause I had to wake up early just to go from my room to the living room couch cause while my parents are gone I'm the big man of the house ᕦ(ò_ó)ᕤ and they had to leave home early, but I wasn't able to get ANY sleep cause our little cat named Skippy Sox (i call him skippy my mom calls him sox) kept JUMPING ON ME and that wouldn't be a problem if he didn't attack everything that moves, because when he sees the blankets shifting around, he'll pounce on it and start going at it, attacking whatever's beneath, and the issue is what's under the cover is ME so it has hard to sleep when he kept jumping on me (he's cute just a bad cat and probably a ufc fighter in a past life). After that we went to go get lunch with my godmother-always love hanging out with her and the food was SO GOOD and then we went to Daiso and H Mart, which are SO COOL I wanna find locations closer to me cause H Mart is probably my new favorite place now they lowkey have everything I want ESPECIALLY in the meat and fish sections but we didn't get anything due to weather and distance-stuff probably would have gone bad by the time we got back. Actually this is where the Hello Kitty Toaster comes in I convinced my parents to get rid of our old toaster to replace it with a smaller, pastel pink toaster that can apparently like imprint Hello Kitty's face onto toast. Best purchase ever breakfast has TRULY been revolutionized in this household. The haul (between the two stores) consists of a lipgloss, a veggie steamer, a rice paddle spoon, an iced coffee, two different types of instance ramens, and some wafer cookies. I probably got more but all of the purchases are escaping me. Besides that, watched some more Squid Game today, so I got two more episodes tomorrow. What got me especially hyped today was that we got more Miraculous phone wallpapers, and we just had like the main four, but we got a ROOSTER BOLD ONE TODAY AND I LOOOOVEEE ROOSTER BOLD MARC IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER JUST LOOK AT THEM!!!

you've seen my son you've been blessed YOU ARE WELCOME i love marc he's my kid actually i love this character on my 'puter. I'm currently STARVING for miraculous content but I least I have another render of him and i LOVE the Rooster Bold design so I'm glad we got one for him he going on my phone NOW!! I'll do that before bed sooo TA-TA FOR NOW!!

This entry is going to have some spoilers for Squid Game season 3 くコ:彡 if anyone cares BUT I'LL GET TO THAT LATER!! So uhm nothing really interesting happened today? My mom found this volunteer posting for me and the position they posted on facebook SUCKED (for me personally) but they also need some other positions that are more fitting to me I think so I'm going to sign up tomorrow hopefully. Besides that...project updates! I finished sketching page 11 for The Mansion so I'll start cleaning it up for the lineart soon. I also finished up a drawing of The Beast for Living and Waking so that will be up here later and on my socials around thursday I think? Also started coloring my Ladynoir piece, so I'll enjoy the process of getting the colors right before I move onto doing lineart for The Mansion(;‘• - •`; ). For Living and Waking I'm onto writing a section with the Rot who is lowkey one of my favorites so I'm excited to continue that tomorrow! Here, I updated the credits/resources page! I'm also trying to figure out how to add progress bars to my pages so that should get done tomorrow hopefully! Enough of that I WANNA TALK ABOUT SQUID GAME! I NEED MYUNG-GI GONE I'VE HATED HIM SINCE SEASON TWO CAUSE HE'S A CRYPTO BRO BUT THEN HE GOES AND KILLS MY BELOEVED HYUN-JU?? AND I REMEMBERED HOW SHE HATED HIM CAUSE OF YOUNG-MI AND OOOOOOOHHHHH I NEED HIM GONE! HE HAS TO DIE! (and i get the whole thing where oh i shouldn't blame him cause its the frontman and the vips and others behind the games that put them into this situation but for Hyun-ju, he did NOT need to kill her he did what was required of the game and no one told him to be a dumbass who goes into crypto investing) I HATE HIM WITH A PASSION I MISS MY GIRL!

I miss my wife. Besides that jun-hee had me STRESSED OUT omg ur pregnant and then you fracture your ankle?? AND THEN YOU GIVE BIRTH UGHHHH. honestly I might make like a whole page for squid game cause i need to YAP about this show so i'll just stop right here especially cause I have to wake up early tomorrow. I am currently in the process of attempting to set up a Redbubble(∩˃o˂∩)♡! I had an old account that I was able to recover, so once I set a way for me to actually receive some money, I should be good to go! I'm gonna be hanging out with my mom tomorrow, so hopefully while I'm with her I'll get onto applying some jobs or internships I'd be able to do remotely cause I'm less inclinced to work on my own personal projects (except maybe Living and Waking) when I'm around other people. I'm also considering opening up commisions again? I had them open for a bit last summer but this guy tried to scam me so I chickened out-I might try again but only advertise them here. I know I get a couple of visitors on here, and everyone here on neocities seems pretty chill so I wouldn't mind if anyone reading this wanted a commision done! Besides that, some other irl things that happened today was that I had a good talk with my friend! I get pretty isolated during the summer so its nice that they called-hope to call with them again (and maybe some other friends) next week. Also cooked for my grandpa! I get pretty iffy with cooking-I can handle what I cook but I realized that making food for others is actually pretty nerve-racking once I got worked up over making some scrambled eggs (╥﹏╥). Besides that gonna go more in depth with projects here-I'm almost done with sketching page 11 of The Mansion, just one more panel and then I'll move on to finishing this Living and Waking piece so it can go onto all my socials and here ofc! Expect a big puppy soon! I didn't get much done in terms of thumbnailing, which is why I got so much progress done on sketching but that's besides the point! For Living and Waking I almost got this nightmare sequence done-just finishing up a section with Strings, then I'll move onto Rot's appearance, and then I'm done! I'll figure out what story beat is going to need the most cleaning up afterwards. I also started planning out some short stories for Living and Waking but I'm not sure if they'll go here-I'm most likely going to submit them to some literary magazines so I can at least say that I've been published, but most don't accept works already posted onto personal websites, so don't expect them here any time soon
( • ᴖ • ｡). For the site, I think I finally have this journal to a nice place! I'm kinda jumping between what pages and aspects to work on so expects a bunch of tiny updates to different pages as I'm currently just in love with exploring's everyone's different sites-it's very inspiring to just see different layouts and also fun to see what different people like to incorporate on their pages-haven't feel this inspired in forever I'm really glad I started a site on here( ๑ ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و ♡. That is all I believe-hopes to waking up at 9am tomorrow

It wasn't a strange man, it was just my grandpa's nurse, which my mom didn't tell me about so that was a nice surpirse to wake up to (╥﹏╥). After that though I continued to make some more progress on my various projects-for context I divide my work up between drawing (which gets 2 hours), and then fancomic work, comic work, and website stuff (all of which get one hour) and then in the evening I do some other just more "for me" projects to kinda decompress. I started sketching page 11 to The Mansion which I hope to have done tomorrow? It's only four panels and these last two pages I did were more background heavy so the next pages should go by more smoothly. As for thumbnailing my Chloe story for the Miraculous Ladybug x DC AU, to be honest I didn't get much progress done ( ._. )"" but I will lock in tomorrow I PROMISE!!!. For my comic, I'm still revising the first chunk as always-getting into the (hopefully comes across) as "gross" bit so I know I can go back to revise it but measure twice cut once as they say I still want to be as well-written as I can possibly have it done NOW. For the website, journal looks a bit better (as you can see) though I still need to replace the images and change the colors from this theme (done by repth here on neocities thank you ♡). Besides that by tomorrow I hope to have some minor adjustments done to all my project pages, a nicer looking stardew page, and start linking some credits on the credits page I've had linked to my homepage FOREVER but currently has nothing ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! I have every graphic (and their source) and resource on this long bookmark folder so they're easy to link, I just need to do it
Once again went to the gym. I usually go on the treadmill three times a week to a Gotham episode and then do arms, legs, and core workouts on one of those days but we got back LATE so I just treadmilled-shall leg tomorrow ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜.
To decompress tonight I started brainstorming an idea based around the Revillustrator ship from Miraculous Ladybug because my friend and I plan on doing something for them and Revnath, but we're starting with the two akumas! I have a solid plan, just need to find a song with angsty and romantic lyrics that could go along with a short comic but I'll worry about that tomorrow!
Besides that, I got nothing as I am currently unemployed, my only real "job" being watching my grandpa and our cats (which I should make a page for Patches and Skippy the lil fellas), so I'm not sure what else to do. I might set up a Redbubble because I'm not sure where to start with selling my fanart since I know nothing about printing or selling, and even though I know Redbubble does take a chunk of profit at least they do all the printing and shipping (from my understanding). I also have a youtube channel (which I haven't uploaded to since last summer) and I've thought about starting that up again but having all of these past times that have no monetary gain just makes me feel like I'm really doing NOTHING which I know is a woe of capitalism but it is lowkey the truth and I need to find a way out of this slump-perchance I'll start sending out more job applications for remote work (if I can ACTUALLY START WAKING UP EARLY)
